Non-profit organization. The Chaffee County Fair occurs annually, the end of July to the first part of August. The Fairgrounds offer many amenities, including a 6,000-foot exhibit hall, meeting room with demonstration kitchen, commercial kitchen, a 10,000-foot event center, open-air livestock pavilion, two outdoor arenas, paved and unpaved parking, RV park with electricity and livestock and horse stalls. The Fairgrounds can handle many events. Past events include motorcycle rallies, state horse show and rodeo events, RV group rendezvous, 4×4 rallies, estate and antique auctions, music concerts and many others.
