GARNA Hosts the Colorado Environmental Film Festival on December 1
The Greater Arkansas River Nature Association (GARNA) is bringing selections from the Colorado Environmental Film Festival to Salida on December 1 at A Church for an evening of films to challenge and inspire us to take care of our environment.
Film selections include “Farm to Faucet,” a look at the value of water in Colorado and our society’s willingness to adapt; “The Sea Turtle Arribada” how a group of dedicated people in Oaxaca, Mexico are protecting an endangered species; and “Yellowstone 88: Song of Fire,” an animated short about the fires in Yellowstone in 1988.
Prior to the films, GARNA will be hosting a social hour with free pizza and beer for members and friends to meet new GARNA Executive Director, Jason Marsden, and learn about upcoming programs.
