Poncha Springs Town Hall to Feature County Commission
Poncha Springs Town HallThe first meeting in 2024 of The League of Women Voters of Chaffee County will be a town hall session with the Chaffee County Commissioners. On Monday, January 8th, Commission Chair Keith Baker will give a brief overview and update followed by descriptions from commissioners Greg Felt and P.T. Wood of their specific areas of responsibility. Questions and answers will follow. Those who cannot attend and have a question, may email their questions to info@lwvchaffeecounty.org before January 3. The program will be held at the Poncha Springs Town Hall (330 Burnett Ave, Poncha Springs) from noon to 1 p.m. and will be preceded by a League business meeting and social beginning at 11:15 a.m. A recording of the program will be available on the League website at lwvchaffeecounty.org a day or two after the meeting. “This is an annual event we try to bring to our communities,” said Karen Dills, LWVCC program leader. “It’s always informative and a very helpful session.”

This calisthenics based workout will build self-esteem, self-worth and self-love through mindful exercise and motivational speech. It is a workout that encourages personal growth, bravery and confidence. Light weights and body weight are used for resistance. Classes may be held at a gym or open facility or in groups of 12 at Kim’s Gym, 144 Old Stage Road, Unit C, Salida. Monday, January 8th, 2024 - 5:30pm
