I’ve called the Arkansas River Valley home since 1998 wearing many hats as I’ve carved out my niche in our beautiful valley. Everything from being a wrangler, to waiting tables, cooking at a local ranch, being a barista, working for Chaffee County through Family and Youth Initiatives, and being a live-in guidance counselor for an expeditionary high school. Each job has taught me a lot about what it takes to survive and thrive here and now it’s been an honor to serve our community through the power of ceremony and coaching for the last decade and a half.

Since 2007, I’ve walked side-by-side through challenging “wilderness” moments with local and non-local individuals and couples as a trained Integral Life Coach, retreat facilitator, and online-course creator. In 2009, a dear friend asked me to co-officiate her wedding at Mt. Princeton Hotsprings and that opened a second career. After marrying nearly 400 people and officiating countless ceremonies marking other life milestones, I’ve started teaching others the joy and power of honoring people through the art of ceremony. I recently launched an online course teaching people how to officiate weddings for friends and loved ones. It has been a long and winding road to find my “thing” as far as having a career way out here in the heart of the Rockies. But it has been worth the journey and all the people I’ve had the privilege to support through my work.

You can read more about my journey through hardship and heartache into a deeply meaningful life in an interview here at VoyageDenver.
