Book Club Salida

While we don’t have a brick-and-mortar location just yet, you can find us twice a month at the Salida Farmers Market from June through October, and at the Holiday Market in November and December. Throughout the year, we host author visits, book clubs, and community reading events in partnership with local organizations, including Elevating Readers Together and Longfellow Elementary, where we host the annual January book fair. In 2026, we’re excited to host our first-ever Reading Retreat in collaboration with Away Retreats, a local business we love. We proudly support authors who live in or visit the Salida area, and have had the honor of hosting local authors such as Ted Conover, Ben Goldfarb, and Pam Houston at our events. Our online shop is always open at bookclubsalida.com, and you can also support us through our Bookshop.org page or by purchasing audiobooks via Libro.fm. Local pickup and delivery are always options, too! Whether it’s in person or online, we’re here to bring books to the community — and to bring the community together through books.
