Buena Vista Mountain Adventures Offers Many Courses this Winter!
Buena Vista Mountain Adventures (BVMA) guides have spent years exploring the Arkansas Valley and remain excited about sharing unique outdoor experiences with our students and guests. Our strength as a team comes from our diverse backgrounds, which include guiding, ski patrolling, AIARE avalanche instruction, outdoor education, and military mountain training programs. We are confident that when you choose BVMA, you’ll have as much fun as we do exploring the Continental Divide of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
CHEESE MAKING at the MOUNTAIN GOAT LODGE
Join experienced cheesemaker Gina Marcell of the Mountain Goat Lodge (9582 US HWY 285) every Tuesday and Saturday at 10am-12:30pm.
Gina just returned from an extensive Artisanal Cheese Making course in Italy, and offers authentic Mozzarella and Burrata classes during the next few months.

FREE English and GED Classes for the Fall
The Learning Source is offering their FREE English language and GED classes this Fall. Classes run September 25-December 21.
GED Classes are self-paced and the English classes are in Salida, BV, or Leadville.
