NEW YEARS DAY 5K
Start the New Year with Salida Parks and Recreation’s Annual 5K! Whether you’re walking or running, this festive and family-friendly event is the perfect way to embrace a healthy start to the year. Put on your best costume and hit the scenic trail for a fun-filled 5K adventure! Get ready for an exciting twist to this year’s 5K! Our brand-new race course kicks off at the Salida Golf Course parking lot and takes you up onto the mesa to enjoy the breathtaking 360° views. The course then winds through the golf course along the path back to the finish line. You're going to love it! Click on the button below to view the new course map. Registration is available until race time on race day (10am). Registration is only $10! Before December 11, you can also purchase a shirt for $15 and pick it up on race day.
