Soft, ambient lighting sets the mood while calming music fills the air. It’s the perfect way to melt away stress and recharge after a long week.

FYI will be hosting a Homeless Youth Awareness event at Ramps and Alleys Skate Shop on November 20th, from 5-8pm. Join us for community networking and a youth art contest, and learn about local resources. Food and beverage will be provided!

Come out for What’s Up, Salida?! Community Coffee Meeting at the Salida Community Center from 8:30-9:30 am. This is FREE and open to the public!

Our pools are open with flotation toys, games, a diving board, a thrilling water slide, a climbing wall, and a playful fountain ready for action. Family Fun Night guarantees endless fun for all ages and is a perfect way to create unforgettable memories. Come make a splash with us!

Every Friday from 9-1 we will be Crafting at A Church! We have some ideas for crafts on hand or if you have a project you need to finish bring it out. We have some supplies for our suggested craft, but for some ideas you might have to bring something.... we suggest reusing what you have..... We can still make the mushroom garland but will be making holiday garland and other paper crafts. If you want to make the mushroom garland bring 6 hollowed out cuties (little oranges) cut in 1/2 and dried. ~Bring old cards or fun paper to make gift tags. ~Bring random yarn for yarn baskets. We also invite yo to sew, cross stitch, felt, etc. Charles will be here to teach basic skills about leatherwork. Lunch is provided by Pizza Rio!

Community Sewing Circle come work on projects, start new projects and learn from creative experts. All are welcome! Kids are encouraged to learn a fun and timeless art from. Refreshments provided feel free to bring snacks to share. For more information contact Molly at mbischoff@chaffeecounty.org

Little Shredders- Roller Skating, Skateboarding and Scooters For Age 7 and Under at Ramps and Alleys Every Friday from 10am-noon, from August 16th-April 25th at Ramps and Alleys, 645 E. Rainbow Blvd. $10 per session.

Tickets for the 2024 Salida’s Next Last Waltz shows on November 22, 23, 28, 29 & 30 of this year will go on-sale beginning at 10:00 am at the SteamPlant Annex. UPDATE: Per the show producers tickets sales will take place in-person ONLY on this date while supplies last. Any remaining tickets after the in-person event closes will be placed back into online channel for purchase. Tickets: $40.00 (Physical tickets from online sales channel will be available for pick-up at SteamPlant Box Office beginning November 5, 2024 during regular business hours, Mon-Fri 9am-4pm) No refunds are available. The SteamPlant Box Office will NOT handle any date changes of previously purchased tickets or be able to replace lost/misplaced tickets. All shows start at 7:30pm. Doors open at 7:00pm. Nov. 23rd - Women's Safety Awareness Learn simple ways to increase situational awareness and enhance personal safety. This is not a firearms class. Our goal is to empower attendees and make our community safer. Class starts at 10am in the Salida Gunshop classroom and is approximately 1 hour, followed by Q+A at the end. Reserve your spot!
