Crafting, Sewing and Leatherwork at A Church
A ChurchEvery Friday from 9-1 we will be Crafting at A Church! We have some ideas for crafts on hand or if you have a project you need to finish bring it out. We have some supplies for our suggested craft, but for some ideas you might have to bring something.... we suggest reusing what you have..... We can still make the mushroom garland but will be making holiday garland and other paper crafts. If you want to make the mushroom garland bring 6 hollowed out cuties (little oranges) cut in 1/2 and dried. ~Bring old cards or fun paper to make gift tags. ~Bring random yarn for yarn baskets. We also invite yo to sew, cross stitch, felt, etc. Charles will be here to teach basic skills about leatherwork. Lunch is provided by Pizza Rio!

Raft Flip & Recovery Practice with Canyon River Instruction
This full-day clinic is designed to give you essential raft-based river safety skills, with a special focus on handling flip situations in both paddle rafts and gear rafts. You’ll learn the key techniques for recovering from a flip, whether you're paddling with a crew or managing a loaded raft. GARNA Community Program: Stage & Rail Historic Route Presentation with Alan Robinson
Valley View Nature Learning Center 9051 County Road 140, Salida, CO, United StatesThe Stage & Rail Historic Route is a 75-mile route from Salida to Leadville that follows historic stagecoach and railroad corridors. Alan Robinson is the driving force behind this 18-year project. In this presentation, he will share the trials of creating the route, and some of the fascinating history that took place along its path. Location: Valley View Nature Learning Center. More Info
