HOPE Fundraiser at the Salida Distillery

Bringing our Valley Hope and the Salida Distillery are partnering Wednesday,  September 25th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on an event designed to make participants “feel good inside and out.” “Those words kept popping into my head as we planned this fundraiser,” noted Maggie Barnard, co-owner of the distillery.  “We’ll donate 10% of the proceeds to support the work of Bringing Our Valley HOPE, a cause which aligns with our ethos and continues our engagement with the community and ecosystem. People should come to this event to support a good cause, mingle with good people, enjoy some tasty beverages and bites.” John DiGirolamo, president of Bringing our Valley Hope, welcomes the opportunity to share messages and information about human trafficking in an informal, synergistic manner with the distillery’s audiences. “This event will help us raise awareness throughout our valley–and generate the funding to do so.” Adding to the evening’s feel good vibes, the group Equinox Jazz will play from 4:30-6:30 and a food truck will be on site for food options for event attendees. The Salida Distillery is located at 110 E 15th St. in Salida.  Its brick & mortar tasting room and production layout was designed with events in mind; it has a welcoming opening floor plan, indoor and outdoor seating. More at www.salidadistillery.com/ Bringing our Valley HOPE (formerly BV HOPE) was launched in 2014 because of the increasing danger of human trafficking in the United States and Colorado. Its mission is to bring education and information to central Colorado to help prevent trafficking in communities throughout the state and to support survivors of trafficking.  For more information, visit www.bvhope.org
