This is a curated collection of 22 nationally recognized contemporary ceramic artists selected for their diverse approach to the medium and high degree of skill and craftsmanship. The show runs October 7th through November 8th at our gallery at 148 North F St and is available for viewing and purchase every day during regular business hours. Coffee by Topo 211 F St, Salida, COThe next Green Drinks event is scheduled for Wednesday November 6th at Coffee by Topo! Staff from the Colorado Green Business Network will be in Salida to discuss how local businesses can get FREE certification and technical assistance to meet their sustainability goals. Presentation starts at 6pm, followed by questions and networking. The event is free but participants are encouraged to purchase a snack or beverage to support our hosts. Crafting, Sewing and Leatherwork at A Church
A ChurchEvery Friday from 9-1 we will be Crafting at A Church! We have some ideas for crafts on hand or if you have a project you need to finish bring it out. We have some supplies for our suggested craft, but for some ideas you might have to bring something.... we suggest reusing what you have..... We can still make the mushroom garland but will be making holiday garland and other paper crafts. If you want to make the mushroom garland bring 6 hollowed out cuties (little oranges) cut in 1/2 and dried. ~Bring old cards or fun paper to make gift tags. ~Bring random yarn for yarn baskets. We also invite yo to sew, cross stitch, felt, etc. Charles will be here to teach basic skills about leatherwork. Lunch is provided by Pizza Rio!
