This family-friendly field day is free to the public. There will be presentations with a ranchers panel and storytelling, followed by tours of the riparian area, wagon rides and visits with the horses and farm animals. Light fare, featuring Badger Creek Ranch beef, will be offered.

While the ranch has hosted open gates before, they were more activity focused.

The watershed project is a collaboration with Central Colorado Conservancy, which is one of the event sponsors.

There will also be draft horse shuttles for the mobility challenged. Families are encouraged to attend, learn and visit with the various farm animals at the ranch.

Dogs are not permitted.
