Ark Valley Voice has been selected by the Institute for Nonprofit News (INN) for an important NewsMatch. If we can raise $18,000 in donations between today and December 31, 2024, that amount will be matched by foundations working with the INN to support nonprofit news organizations who serve local markets.
This is critical operating funding for our 50`(c)(3) news organization. This is a crucial time for nonprofit news organizations; we are under attack from some political factions and foreign actors, the traditional local business model is evaporating, and disinformation is swirling on multiple “content” vehicles. Access to real news and truthful information is and will be more important than ever. Throughout what is shaping up as a time of chaos and uncertainty, courageous reporting is more important than ever.
