Chaffee County Recreation Adopters- National Public Lands Day
Join the Chaffee Rec Adopters and the BLM and the National Forest Foundation for a dispersed campsite designation and cleanup for National Public Lands Day! We'll be getting the area set up for designated dispersed camping by taking down fire rings, removing ash piles, installing signs and other projects. September 28 - 9am - Noon Meeting area - Shavano Wildlife Management Area Bring: Gloves, closed-toed shoes, shovels/rakes. Water bottle & food. Hat, long pants and sleeves recommended. Water and light snacks provided. End of Season Closeout at the Monarch Crest!

Visit artists at work during the annual Salida Studio Tour! This is your chance to meet Salida artists and step inside their unique studios. You will learn about painting, printmaking, clock making, woodturning, sculpting, metal working, mosaics, glasswork, fiber art and so much more.
