Ark-Valley Humane Society (AVHS) is thrilled to announce that its 9th Annual Feline & Fido Calendar Contest will be returning this year, from Monday, October 7th through Sunday, October 20th.
“We’re thrilled to be hosting another photo contest for the 2025 Ark-Valley Humane Society Calendar. This is a fun way to show off your pet’s adorable photos and help the homeless pets of AVHS!” AVHS Outreach Manager Casey Hampf said.
Anyone can enter their photos at www.gogophotocontest.com/avhs. It is $5 per photo submission and $1 to vote (with a $5 minimum). Once a person has entered their pet’s photo, they can share the contest with family and friends to garner more votes.
The contestant with the most votes will have their photo featured on the cover of the 2025 AVHS Calendar. Each of the top 12 photos with the most votes will be a featured pet photo for one of the twelve months. All photos submitted will be featured in smaller photos throughout the calendar.
All proceeds from this contest will go towards supporting the shelter and care of AVHS homeless pets. Starting October 7th you will also be able to pre-order a 2025 calendar through the AVHS website as an additional way to help shelter animals in need!
