The Parent Toolkit for Kids, will be running on Tuesday nights, 5:30pm-7:30pm, from March 11th-April 15th at the Cornerstone Church, 205 S. San Juan Ave., Buena Vista.
This class is designed for parents and caregivers of children ages 9-14, to help them support their kids in making good choices. Some of the topics that will be covered include:
- Promoting health and wellbeing during the teen years
- Developing healthy beliefs and clear standards
- Dealing with anger in a positive way
- How to guide kids to say NO, keep their friends, and still have fun
- How to strengthen family bonds
The class is free of charge, and dinner will be provided! Free childcare will also be available for children up to age 14.
