Parent Toolkit for Kids Class
Boys & Girls Club-SalidaThis class is designed for parents and caregivers of children ages 9-14, to help them support their kids in making good choices. The class will be held on Monday nights, 5:30pm-7:30pm, from April 21st-May 19th at the Boys and Girls Club in Salida. Some of the topics that will be covered include: Promoting health and wellbeing during the teen years Developing healthy beliefs and clear standards Dealing with anger in a positive way How to guide kids to say NO, keep their friends, and still have fun How to strengthen family bonds The class is free of charge, and dinner will be provided! Free childcare will also be available for children up to age 14.
