Dr. Nicholas Brown, the owner and founder of Relaxation Dental Specialties (RDS) purchased the practice of Dr. Bixby’s in August 2018. The practice offers advanced procedures that most dental offices have to refer elsewhere, such as oral surgeries, cosmetic dentistry, dental implant placement, Invisalign and Sedation Dentistry techniques. Gone are the days when people travel to Denver or Colorado Springs for dental procedures.
Sedation dentistry is the main area of expertise for Dr. Brown and RDS, an offering that only 1% of dentists in the state of Colorado are certified to perform. Sedation Dentistry allows patients with fear of the dentist or those undergoing serious procedures to snooze through their appointments using medication administered orally or through an I.V. Dr. Brown’s expertise in Sedation dentistry give him the opportunity to help people who otherwise never would have gone to the dentist.
