In General. We may collect personal information that can identify you, such as your name and email address, and in some cases other information that does not identify you, for instance, the source that brought you to this website, see “Cookies” below.
We collect this information so we can create more resources you love and to improve your experience on our website. This information is only shared with our trusted third-party partners when necessary to serve you. We will keep your data for no longer than is necessary.
We have direct access to information that we collect voluntarily from you to via email or other direct contact from you. We will not directly sell or rent this information to anyone.
We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside our organization, other than as necessary via our trusted third party partners to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order or host a class.
We partner with PayPal to securely process your payment. Therefore we never learn your credit card information, only your name, email and shipping address.
Additionally we use other third-party platforms to provide our services including, but not limited to WordPress, Mailchimp, Facebook, and Google Analytics. Some of these platforms require you to create an account and agree to their terms of service, which are separate from the Salida Chamber’s terms and privacy policy.
Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about changes to this privacy policy and other terms of use.
Security
We take precautions to protect your information. Wherever we collect sensitive information, that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees or contractors who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/server in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you it may cache the Salida Chamber site so that it loads quicker.
