Blue Bird Cleaning began in 2012 in my hometown of Austin, Texas and it’s surrounding areas. As a new mother, I was looking for a job situation that would be a good fit for my family and help me to be able to actively participate in raising my two girls. At the time as well, I began to learn a lot about how to make non toxic, environmentally friendly products for the house using essential oils and simple ingredients. These products clean well and do so at a low toxicity, which helps keep homes perfectly clean without all the nasty chemicals, and potential health issues they could cause.
I began to make various cleaning products and decided to talk with some of my friends and neighbors to see if anyone would be interested in some help with cleaning and organizing around the house . Many of my clients at that time choose to use my home created products as well. Fast forward 12 years and I have cleaned many homes in many different situations for many different clients.
When my family moved to Salida, I began working with owners of vacation properties to help keep their short term rental property in perfect condition, creating a perfect place for people to come and stay and call home for a few days or a few weeks. My background in post construction cleaning in Corpus Christi, Texas, came in handy as I was able to use many cleaning strategies for bringing a vacation rental to its highest level of clean every time. I know that my keen eye for perfection and my highest level of expectation for cleanliness is a perfect combination for any property owner. I have also worked as a property manager for several short-term rentals in Salida, providing a concierge level of service for the home owner’s needs, helping to create the perfect place for people to visit and enjoy our town and community.
I am excited to be a part of the Salida Chamber of Commerce. I value this community of business owners in working together to support the success of all businesses in Salida. I look forward to helping many new clients in providing a high-level of service in cleaning and building relationships with homeowners who are looking to use their property as a vacation rental.
