Arkansas River Tours has been offering exceptional whitewater rafting in Colorado since 1973. Rafting experiences range from day trips to multi-day trips with camping, easy whitewater for family vacation adventures to challenging extreme adventures in Class IV+ whitewater.
Three unique canyons (Bighorn Canyon, Browns Canyon and the Royal Gorge) provide whitewater rafting trips for the timid beginner to the seasoned veteran. Combine the thrill of rafting in Bighorn Sheep Canyon with a spectacular train ride through the Royal Gorge with the Royal Gorge Route Railroad and a steak or chicken BBQ lunch. We also offer guided float fishing. We have two locations to conveniently serve our guests: Our riverside location in Cotopaxi and our office in Canon City near the Royal Gorge.
Arkansas River Tours offers guided float fishing trips for Brown and Rainbow trout. Join us for an Evening Float Fishing trip, a full day Bighorn Sheep Canyon trip or an overnight trip in our newest National Monument in Browns Canyon. Combine our float fishing trip with a walk / wade package with our partners, the Royal Gorge Anglers fly shop in Canon City. We also combine float fishing trips with whitewater rafting trips for families or groups wanting to participate in different activities on the Arkansas River.
