Ark-Valley Humane Society (AVHS) is excited to announce their sixth annual Good Pet/Bad Portrait Fundraiser.
AVHS volunteer artists and staff donate their time and talents to create portraits of community pets to help raise money for AVHS.
“Our volunteer artists range in age and skill level. Participants may get a comical doodle of their beloved pet that they proudly display on their fridge, or they may receive a fine art piece – all while helping homeless animals at AVHS,” said AVHS Executive Director, Nikki Ritter.
Anyone can submit photos containing up to two pets per submission starting Monday, February 10th through Sunday, February 23rd at https://www.ark-valley.org/events/good-pet-bad-portrait/. Submission fees start at $25 per portrait. Once completed, the volunteer artist will mail your pet’s portrait to you directly, or arrange for pick up at AVHS’s main location at 701 Gregg Drive in Buena Vista. There are a limited number of portraits available, so be sure to enter quickly while supplies last!
