Family & Youth Initiatives is a prevention division within Chaffee Health and Human Services that provides support to over 1000 local youth and families a year. Programs range from one-on-one mentoring between adults and youth, to parenting and family programs, to educational programs, to divert youth from high risk behaviors.
Our mission is to provide proven, effective, prevention programs to promote healthy behaviors in Chaffee County youth and families. Program offices are at 448 E. 1st Street, Salida.
