CCMR is an all-volunteer nonprofit motorcycle club and partners with local land managers to keep surrounding trails clear of downed and hazard trees, maintain existing trails, and advocate for new multiuse trails. We have formally adopted 8 singletrack trail segments in Chaffee, Fremont, and Saguache counties. Our trailhead kiosks are designed to educate and help prevent user conflict in order to create a positive recreation experience for all users.
In addition to volunteer workdays, CCMR obtains grants funded by the OHV registration stickers paid by motorized trail users. CCMR puts these funds to work on multi-use trails that benefit all users.
CCMR received national recognition for our commitment to work in unison with trail recreation clubs, the community and land managers to preserve and protect our public lands and to help ensure OHV recreation is managed and protected for generations to come.
MISSION STATEMENT: Central Colorado Mountain Riders (CCMR) – an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization – aims to preserve, maintain, and create motorized trail opportunities in the Central Colorado area through cooperation, education, etiquette, and stewardship.
