Silver Cliff Ranch (SCR) is a nonprofit rental facility that combines an awe-inspiring natural setting with a culture of service to create a welcoming place for youth and families to heal, learn, and joyfully explore through positive, outdoor experiences and authentic interactions. With rustic, cabin lodging and dining services for over 200 people alongside amenities including a hot-springs fed swimming pool, full-size gymnasium, and historic Opera House meeting space, SCR is an affordable, year-round destination for church youth groups, nonprofits serving underserved youth, and families with minor children.
Silver Cliff Ranch has been in the area since the 1950s when it was a Young Life summer camp location. Since 1984, it has
been a nonprofit hosting faith-based groups from across the country as a summer group rental facility. Our goal in the next five
years is to provide our services year-round and expand our reach to serve more nonprofits who support underserved youth and
their families. We also want SCR to serve the need for safe spaces and programs for youth and families locally in Chaffee County and become more widely known in the surrounding area.
