PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE
Professional practice of 44 years in Colorado has focused upon nonprofit entities, churches, corporate business planning, and general organizational legal advice and representation. The following list of corporate (profit and nonprofit) work and business transactions are representative:
- Presently advise both management and governing boards of approximately 30 nonprofit (religious and and secular) organizations ranging from local to international in scope of ministry.
- Formed or restructured approximately 350 nonprofit (501c3) corporations including single-member subsidiaries.
- Contract review and preparation including non-profit conference programs, licensing and protection of trademarks, and other intellectual property and proprietary information.
- Employment, independent contractor and confidentiality agreements for use with key principals as well as organization-wide programs.
- Lease and purchase transactions of church real estate, equipment, vehicles, licenses and permits.
- Non-profit liability prevention programs in a variety of faith-based, church and secular nonprofit settings.
