KSBV is a 50,000 watt station that reaches every corner of the Arkansas valley, Poncha Springs, Buena Vista, Fairplay, Leadville, Moffat, Westcliffe, Canon City, and beyond. Our goal is to help our clients increase their business with a fair price for advertising that we will all be happy with.
We are the only classic rock station in the area and the largest with a 50,000 watt signal. We are also involved with the community doing public service announcements, community events, interviews with non-profits, and emergency events that are happening in real time. We provide up-to-date weather and news, and we also do live events on the air throughout the community.
Jim Mundy of KSBV was a professional drummer and came to Salida 20 years ago. He started The Lighthouse of Salida and a homeless shelter in Salida.
