50Burger is Salida’s favorite place to get lunch and dinner in a fresh, casual atmosphere. Built to be sustainable with a Colorado flair for flavor, 50Burger serves a chef-driven menu all day, seven days a week. At the heart of our operation is the hamburger. We all spent a month researching and sampling dozens of various beef blends and different grinds to find the meatiest, juiciest hamburger possible. It is made with beef brisket, and ground differently from other burgers to have more texture, with an extremely high “juicy factor.” This is a four-napkin burger with unbelievable flavor.
We all share the goal of using pure, wholesome ingredients to bring you tasty meals, while leaving a small footprint on our environment. To that end, all the lighting has been re-fitted with LED fixtures, and we recycle everything possible, and compost the food scraps to enrich the soil for future fruits and vegetables! There are no Styrofoam products or microwaves
At 50Burger, we want to show customers delicious American craft beers with our continually changing 10 beer taps, focusing on the best of Colorado. Happy Hour, from 3-5, gives you a chance to try them all at half price. After a day on the trail, the river, or the mountain, you can regale your friends with tales of adventure with a frosty pint of beer. Our 25 foot long oak bar is also the home of big, hand-dipped shakes. There are even boozy shakes available, like the Mudslide, with Bailey’s and Kahlua for bigger kids!
Because all the owners of the restaurant are chefs, daily specials give us a chance to try new ideas, using seasonal ingredients at their peak of flavor. Fresh fish is one of our passions, and it pops up on the specials with regularity. Cod, tuna, salmon, and snapper are frequent visitors at 50Burger, but they don’t stick around for long!
Although our name is 50Burger, there is much more to try, so you’ll never get bored with the menu. We offer several different salads, with many toppings such as grilled chicken, salmon, beef or falafel. Three different ramen noodle bowls are also available, and most of our snacks can be shared as appetizers or light meals.
