Salida Theater Project (STP) presents The Minutes, Tracy Letts’ razor-sharp dark comedy, directed by Liz Dunn, October 9-17 at A Church. Tickets available on Eventbrite.

This razor-sharp comedy invites you behind the closed doors of a routine city council meeting that is anything but ordinary. When a new council member returns to the chambers to find a colleague missing and the official record of the last meeting suspiciously absent, finding out the truth is met with the ultimate political weapons: red tape, eccentric excuses, and bureaucratic nonsense.

From petty squabbles over local festivals to the high-stakes drama of parking permits, it’s a hilarious and biting look at the people who run our world and the secrets they try to keep “off the record.”
