Buena Vista Correctional Complex
The Buena Vista Correctional Complex is comprised of two separate facilities – Buena Vista Correctional Facility (BVCF) and Buena Vista Minimum Center (BVMC). The Buena Vista Correctional Complex was opened in 1892 under the name of Colorado State Reformatory. The Buena Vista Minimum Center was opened in 1999.
