In General. We may collect personal information that can identify you, such as your name and email address, and in some cases other information that does not identify you, for instance, the source that brought you to this website, see “Cookies” below.
We collect this information so we can create more resources you love and to improve your experience on our website. This information is only shared with our trusted third-party partners when necessary to serve you. We will keep your data for no longer than is necessary.
We have direct access to information that we collect voluntarily from you to via email or other direct contact from you. We will not directly sell or rent this information to anyone.
We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside our organization, other than as necessary via our trusted third party partners to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order or host a class.
We partner with PayPal to securely process your payment. Therefore we never learn your credit card information, only your name, email and shipping address.
Additionally we use other third-party platforms to provide our services including, but not limited to WordPress, Mailchimp, Facebook, and Google Analytics. Some of these platforms require you to create an account and agree to their terms of service, which are separate from the Salida Chamber’s terms and privacy policy.
Bot & Spam Detection
Our primary goal is to provide you an experience on our website that is as secure and protected as possible. To do this, we use a security feature that blocks IP addresses of known bots from interacting with the site.
A Captcha service is on this site to block spam form submissions. Read more about their privacy policy here.
A security service is on this site to block potentially malicious activity. This may include reading IP addresses for threat detection, usernames, login attempts, and actions like comments and setting changes. This information is stored locally for 14 days then purged. Antibot Service: Collects IP addresses for threat detection and to prevent attacks, retaining logs for 14 days unless malicious activity continues. Cookies: The plugin may add cookies to your browser.
