Free Electronics Recycling Events
Sustainable Salida and the Salida Chamber of Commerce have partnered with Chaffee County to host Free Electronics Recycling Events at the Chaffee County Fairgrounds. The next Electronics Recycling Event is scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2024. The following items are accepted:
- Computer Monitors
- Computers & Accessories
- Cell Phones
- Printers
- Tablets
- Hair Dryers
- Curling Irons
- Electric Shavers
- Small lawn care electronics
- Microwaves
- Any electronic device that plugs in or runs on batteries
- Televisions*
* There is a $30 fee per television for proper recycling. All other items are free to drop-off.
The following items are NOT accepted:
- Ovens/Stoves
- Fridges
- Dishwashers
- Water heaters
- Freezers
- Washers
- Dryers
- Gas or electric grills
- Any other large electronics
