Salida Theatre Project Presents “The Minutes”

★ Chamber Member Event: Salida Theater Project

This razor-sharp comedy invites you behind the closed doors of a routine city council meeting that is anything but ordinary. When a new council member returns to the chambers to find a colleague missing and the official record of the last meeting suspiciously absent, finding out the truth is met with the ultimate political weapons: red tape, eccentric excuses, and bureaucratic nonsense.

From petty squabbles over local festivals to the high-stakes drama of parking permits, it’s a hilarious and biting look at the people who run our world and the secrets they try to keep “off the record.”

If you think you knew what a city council meeting is like, you’ve never been to a Big Cherry council meeting. Pull up a chair and join the session. Is it just another night of small-town politics… or is it?
