Crimestopper Golf Scramble
On September 27th, 2026, Chaffee County Crimestoppers is hosting a golf tournament at the Salida Golf Club. The purpose of the golf tournament is to raise awareness and money for the day-to-day expenses associated with Crimestoppers. These expenses include providing a platform for the public to anonymously report criminal activity and information to assist law enforcement. Additionally, Chaffee County Crimestoppers provides rewards for certain criminal investigations to those that provide information and/or prevent criminal activity from occurring. Chaffee County Crimestoppers is non-profit organization and is dedicated to crime prevention and supporting law enforcement in their criminal investigations. The board is made up of members of the public from Buena Vista, Salida, and unincorporated Chaffee County. The board also has representatives from the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office, Buena Vista Police Department, Salida Police Department, and Parks and Wildlife. The “Crime Stoppers Scramble” will be a fun format. All proceeds from the tournament will go to support Chaffee County Crimestoppers and its mission.
