One of the best ways to see Salida is to rent a bicycle and cruise around town.
And, for short or long distances, there’s also Rocky Mountain Taxi and the Chaffee Shuttle, which operates regular weekday shuttle service between Salida, Gunnison, Alamosa, Poncha Springs, Buena Vista, Canon City, Pueblo, and Denver.
Daily bus service to Denver Union Station and Denver Bus Station from Salida. Route goes from Gunnison to Monarch Mountain (during ski season), Salida, Buena Vista, Fairplay, Pine Junction, and Denver and then back the same route and is available on Bustang Outrider.
