The Shavano Academic Booster Club is a local non-profit organization that recognizes and rewards amazing students in Salida School District. We have new faces on our Board of Directors this year and look forward to serving students and our community. Our only funding comes from your generous donations.
SABC’s mission is to recognize students for their efforts across all grades and all skill levels. Teachers nominate students each month for academic excellence, classroom participation and good citizenship. We place their photos around town, write an article for The Mountain Mail Newspaper and send letters of congratulations home to parents. We also provide Senior College Scholarships and Teacher Grants, all in the spirit of Student Recognition!
