Crafting, Sewing and Leatherwork at A Church

Every Friday from 9-1 we will be Crafting at A Church! We have some ideas for crafts on hand or if you have a project you need to finish bring it out. We have some supplies for our suggested craft, but for some ideas you might have to bring something.... we suggest reusing what you have..... We can still make the mushroom garland but will be making holiday garland and other paper crafts. If you want to make the mushroom garland bring 6 hollowed out cuties (little oranges) cut in 1/2 and dried. ~Bring old cards or fun paper to make gift tags. ~Bring random yarn for yarn baskets. We also invite yo to sew, cross stitch, felt, etc. Charles will be here to teach basic skills about leatherwork. Lunch is provided by Pizza Rio!

Dec. 7th - Safety Awareness Class at Buena Vista American Legion Learn simple ways to increase situational awareness and enhance personal safety. This is not a firearms class. Our goal is to empower attendees and make our community safer. Class starts at 1pm at the BV American Legion and is approximately 1 hour, followed by Q+A at the end. Reserve your spot!

Circular Transportation Network Addresses Barriers to Recycling in Rural and Mountain Communities Does your business struggle to recycle due to a lack of access to hauling? The Colorado Circular Transportation Network is a new program designed by the Circular Economy Development Center and Front Range Transload to pick up select materials, such as plastics, film, cardboard, paper, aluminum and down-filled products, for free from rural and mountainous areas that experience barriers to recycling. The collected materials will be aggregated and sent to end markets in the region where they will be processed and remanufactured into new products.
