BVMA’s 7-day SOLO WFR course builds advanced wilderness medicine, leadership, and decision-making skills for outdoor professionals and avid adventurers. Training includes assessment and response for musculoskeletal, environmental, and soft tissue injuries, medical issues, CPR, and extensive hands-on practice. Come out for What’s Up, Salida?! Community Coffee Meeting at the Salida Community Center from 8:30-9:30 am. This is FREE and open to the public! 
Knots and rigging can be tricky. This class covers the basics of leaders and tippets: what they are and how they differ. We’ll practice essential knots, walk through proper rigging, and discuss how to set up your rod for different fishing conditions. $25 per class

Join us every first Friday of the month in the Salida Creative District as galleries and creative businesses in Salida’s historic downtown stay open later so you can talk with an artist, watch a demo, or find that perfect piece of art. From painting to sculpture, ceramics, photography, plein air, jewelry, fiber art and more, enjoy a festive evening downtown as you drop into one of Salida’s many businesses to see new art, live music, and light refreshments!
