AIARE Avalanche Rescue + SOLO Wilderness First Aid

The AIARE Avalanche Rescue + Wilderness First Aid course is a three day training that blends hands-on avalanche rescue skills with essential wilderness medical care. You will learn how to use a transceiver, probe, and shovel to locate and extract a buried partner and how to assess, treat, and stabilize injuries in remote winter terrain. This combined approach gives you a complete toolset to respond effectively when an incident happens in the backcountry.
