The 3^rd Annual Christmas Mountain 5 Mile Run is scheduled for Friday, November 24 at 10am!  Celebrate Thanksgiving weekend and the lighting of Christmas Mountain with friends and family at a 5 mile and  1 mile race.  Race course is scenic and flat (around 160 feet of elevation gain) and takes place on city and county roads and gravel or concrete pedestrian paths.  This event is designed for all runners, and all ages and abilities are encouraged to come out!  Packet pickup, post race drinks and snacks, and awards will take place in Riverside Park.

Registration is currently open.  Prize money will be offered to the top 3 M/F overall, along with the first place M/F masters runner (ages 40+).

There will also be a 1 mile run, which will begin at 10:05am, right after the 5 mile race has started.  This is a timed out and back run on Sackett Avenue, and all participants will receive a participant ribbon and post race snacks.  Parents are allowed to run with small children, even if they are not entered in the event.
