Tax Credits Benefit Small Business

From the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade And the Upper Arkansas Enterprise Zone (UAEZ) Colorado’s Enterprise Zone program provides tax credit incentives to encourage businesses to expand and locate in designated economically distressed areas of the state: the local zone is the UAEZ. Businesses located in the unincorporated and non-residential incorporated area of the UAEZ counties of Lake, Chaffee, Custer and Fremont may qualify for up to nine Enterprise Zone Tax Credits. The tax credits encourage job creation and investment. Two of the most accessed credits pertain to eligible expenses for equipment and new business facility related job creation.
