High Altitude Golfing at its Best! Started in 1926, the Salida Golf Club has rolling greens and stunning views. The greens are small and fast, there is water on 8 of the holes, and the usual pace is two hours for nine holes. The course is on a slope, but is easy to walk. Trees define each fairway but are not numerous enough to lose your ball in them.
Proud hosts of the Shavano Showdown and the Chaffee County Open, plus numerous other tournaments throughout the season. We welcome your visit. We take tee times two days in advance, but if you are traveling and need to make advance arrangements, call the golf shop at (719) 539-1060 and ask for Dow. Salida Golf Cabin Bar & Grill on site. Enjoy a cool beverage or meal after a round of golf in our WPA-built clubhouse from 1938.
