Gotten your bearings yet? Not to worry. Salida is a very easy town to navigate. Just remember that Highway 50 runs east-west (and is how you get to Monarch Mountain) and Highway 285 runs north-south (and will take you up to Buena Vista and beyond). When in doubt, keep an eye out for S Mountain!
