Earth Day, April 22, is fast approaching, and for Salida residents there’s no shortage of recycling and volunteer events to celebrate the holiday. 

Everett Wilson reads poetry at the Poetry Live event March 24 at Salida SteamPlant. The event outgrew the Paquette Gallery and was moved to the SteamPlant Annex. The poetry group hosts four readings throughout the year, usually coinciding with solstices and equinoxes.
