PARK AFTER DARK Presents One Night with Two Epic Bands

Top Country Artists Pam Tillis and John Michael Montgomery share the stage

Canon City, Colo.—Two of Country Music’s classic  top performing artists, Pam Tillis and John Michael Montgomery will take the stage at the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park, Saturday, July 1.   Showtime begins at 6 pm with Tillis taking the stage followed by Montgomery at 8 pm at the park’s Elk Amphitheater with outdoor lawn-seating and magnificent views of the Colorado Rockies.

 

Tillis, named a CMA Female vocalist of the Year, is famously known for breaking Country’s top singles chart time and again, and for her album Rhinestoned.   Tillis is an inductee to the Opry, and  known for top hits such as “Band in the Window,” “Life has Sure Changed Us Around,” “Crazy By Myself,”  “Bettin’ Money On Love,” Something Burning Out,” and many more.

 

Montgomery, famously know for “Life’s A Dance,” has received many awards including the CMA Horizon Award,  ACM’s Top New Vocalist, CMA’s Single and Song of the Year, and Billboard’s Top Country Artist.   Montgomery’s rich baritone has produced such hits as “How Was I to Know”, “Cowboy Love,”  “Rope the Moon,” and “As Long as I Live.”

 

Concert goers can top off the evening with a fireworks finale following Montgomery’s final song, said show producer Charlette Henager, Frogdawgproductions.     Fireworks will depend on fire ban and wind conditions according to Henager.”   “This is one of the most beautiful venues in Colorado, perfect for this concert,” she said.

 

The Park after Dark Concert Series is in its second year at the park.    Tickets range from $55 to $75 depending on date of purchase.  Ticket prices go up midnight, June 25,  to $65, and can be purchased on www.royalgorgebridge.com.  Tickets include admission to the park.
