For over ten years Colorado Parks and Wildlife, other state and federal agencies, private landowners and wildlife conservation groups have been involved in a cooperative, multi-phase habitat enhancement endeavor, the Large-scale Habitat Enhancement Project. The goal of the project is to improve overall land health, enhance habitat for wildlife species, re-distribute big game on a large scale, reduce conflicts with wildlife and reduce fuels/risk of catastrophic fire. The group will meet in Howard and then carpool to different treatment sites. More info will be provided to those who register. Cost is $5 for GARNA members / $7 for non-members.
