Boys & Girls Clubs of Chaffee County is part of a national affiliation of more than 4,000 local clubs with Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as caring, productive, responsible citizens. We accomplish this by offering programs in five core areas: character and leadership development; education and career development; health and life skills; the arts; and sports, fitness and recreation.
We serve over 700 children and youth annually throughout Chaffee County in facilities that are kid-friendly, designed and operated exclusively for youth of all backgrounds. We operate facilities in Salida and Buena Vista that host over 130 kids per day in a safe and secure environment, providing the kind of programs that prepare the youth of today to become the leaders of tomorrow. Our doors are open five days a week, 50 weeks per year.
