Chamber Business of the Month Nominations
Criteria for BOM (Business of the Month)
- Must be a Chamber Member
- Must have been a member for at least 1 year
- Must be nominated
- Promotes vitality within the local business community through economic development, educational activities or cultural activities.
- Must not have been BOM within the last 2 years
Process
Committee members will review nominations to ensure they meet criteria with final vote made by the Board of Directors via secret ballot per quarter.
Business of the Year will be voted upon by Chamber Membership via email and website from the 12 eligible candidates.
Procedure
Membership Committee will solicit nominations for our membership through various means, but not restricted to Website, Nomination cards, Other means deemed necessary.
Board members will be responsible for circulating nomination cards at Business After Hours.
Membership Committee will present a list of business names gleaned from nominations on a quarterly basis to the Board of Directors for voting.
Chamber Board of Directors will vote via secret ballot for three businesses which will become the BOM for the quarter. (Businesses with the most votes will be chosen and put in the order the board desires)
Becoming a BOM makes a business eligible for Business of the Year
